The Fresh Group has announced wins with New Look, House of Fraser and A-Plant, and outlined plans to acquire another agency.

Group managing director Nick Porter said the new business was worth £1.5m to the Cheshire-based agency.

The New Look event is the retailer's first management conference in four years and will be attended by 750 store managers and head office staff. The one-day event is being held at Old Billingsgate Market, London this month.

New Look group HR director Linda Owen said: "In the past 12 months, New Look has consolidated its position as the third-largest UK womenswear retailer. As a result, we want to bring together store and head-office personnel to reinforce our vision and ambition for the future and build on the success."

Porter added: "The contract covers one event but we will be talking to New Look about more work after this conference."

The agency is also running a management conference for 1,000 House of Fraser employees in February. A central London venue for the two-day event is yet to be finalised. Fresh ran a similar event in London for the retailer in February this year. "House of Fraser has tripled its budget for next year's event because it has increased the number of delegates attending and doubled the event's length," said Porter.

Elsewhere, for the third consecutive year, Fresh is managing equipment rental firm A-Plant's annual conference, awards ceremony and team-building event for 500 staff in May 2009.

Porter also added that Fresh was in "advanced talks" with two north west agencies with a view to acquiring one.
