Warwick Conferences is investing £6.5m in upgrading Warwick Arts Centre's largest conference hall.

Butterworth Hall will close this month for a refurbishment that will include a revamp of seating, stage, technical equipment and back-stage areas.

Access for disabled delegates is also being improved, with additional space being made for wheelchair users on the upper levels of the hall.

The renovation work is due for completion by Easter next year.

Warwick Conferences has also introduced an additional 100-seat lecture room to Arden training and conference centre. A range of team-building activities, including a labyrinth maze, are also now on offer at the venue.

Meanwhile, a £2.5m tennis centre has opened at Westwood Campus and is available for use by delegates of Warwick Conferences' venues.
