Copenhagen's Bella Center has started building what is claims will be the biggest hotel in Scandinavia.

The 814-room, four-star property will comprise two 76.5 metre towers and is anticipated to open in the first quarter of 2011.

It will be an integrated part of the Bella Center and will offer 32 meeting rooms including a ballroom, two executive conference rooms and a Sky Bar.

The property will be geared toward the business market but will also offer an 850sqm spa and fitness centre for delegates to unwind.

Bella Center's existing offering includes 63 flexible conference rooms and four auditoria.
