Agency Fitch Live has been appointed by long-term client Microsoft to design, produce and run its annual product showcase, ReMix.

The ReMix UK 08 two-day conference - taking place at the Brighton Centre on 18 and 19 September - is the first of 17 events that will be taking place across the globe throughout the year. The UK event will see several global product launches and technology demonstrations. Throughout the course of the two days, over 30 key note speakers will be addressing issues about the latest in technology, creative trends, and the internet.

"ReMix UK 08 will be a truly collaborative event," said Fitch Live project director Jeremy Buckle. "The whole concept has been developed to encourage a new level of audience involvement and engagement both inside and outside the fixed sessions. The highly interactive spaces we have created are designed to stimulate discussion and to inspire the audience to take the media they love to new levels of user experience."

Through the use of inflatable stands and social spaces, Fitch Live has said it "will maximise the iconic, retro status of the building in Brighton to create an innovative, interactive and cutting-edge environment".

Fitch has worked with Microsoft for some 15 years and this latest project win adds to the existing roster of the five European and global events the agency normally handles for Microsoft each year.
