Principal Hayley has taken some £800,000 worth of bookings for its first European venue, Chateau St Just, ahead of its opening.

The conference and training venue, located in Belle Eglise, Paris, is scheduled to open later this month.

Pre-bookings for 2008 and early 2009 equate to 3,100 booked rooms.

The 150-room Chateau St Just combines a 17th-century chateau with modern conference buildings linked by a glass walkway.

The venue will offer 2,000sqm of flexible meeting space including 30 meeting rooms for up to 300 delegates.

Complimentary wi-fi will be available throughout the property and a range of group activities, including archery, laser clay-pigeon shooting, and quad biking, will be offered onsite.
