Agency THA Group has returned to profit, with the announcement of its latest annual figures showing a pre-tax profit of £274k on a turnover of £38m in the year ending 31 December 2007.

This compares to a pre-tax loss of £644,000 the previous year - a turnaround of £918,000.

"We're working in a fast-paced industry, so THA Group will continue to be a dynamic and flexible business - adapting to the market place and responding to clients' changing needs," said chief executive officer Darren Gilbert. "This coming year we'll be able to further demonstrate our core strengths and creativity, working as one united team across Europe."

The last year has seen THA go through an internal restructure - designed to align teams along account lines and bring together its UK and Belgian offices - and also announce a £500,000 plan to open sites in Paris, Munich, Milan and Barcelona, taking THA Group's overseas workforce to 50.
