Church House Conference Centre director and general manager Lacy Curtis-Ward is to leave the central London venue after seven years to take up the position of chief executive officer at the Lensbury at Teddington Lock.
During her time at Church House, Curtis Ward is credited with being the driving force behind a programme of facilities upgrades, customer service improvements and product developments at the venue.
Curtis-Ward said of her decision: "One of my objectives was to ensure Church House became one of the most successful conference centres in the UK, and I am very proud of what the team has achieved during the past seven years. I have really enjoyed my time at Church House, and will be sad to leave my excellent team; however, I feel it is time for me to leave the venue in very capable hands, and move on to my next challenge."
Alison Forsyth, currently operations manager at Church House, will take over as acting general manager. Forsyth boasts 22 years of conference and events experience at various roles including London's Savoy Place.
