Revamped St Regis Beijing set for the Games

St Regis Hotels & Resorts has unveiled the newly refurbished St Regis Beijing following a seven and a half month, £14m revamp in time for the Olympic Games. All 258 guestrooms and 102 suites have been updated, along with the restaurants and public spaces. The 1,220sqm of meeting space includes a series of rooms with the latest technical and AV aids, and groups can also make use of the gardens for al fresco events, with wi-fi available throughout the entire premises. As well as Danieli’s Italian fine-dining restaurant, there are a number of bars, grills and lounges serving everything from afternoon tea to the hotel’s famed Bloody Marys. The property also has its own natural spring spa. Drawing hot water from 1,500 feet down, the 2,000sqm facility offers ten treatment rooms, with therapies covering the gamut of European and Oriental techniques.
