Domina expands into Middle East

The Domina Hotel Group is opening two new hotels in the Middle East and is extending its Domina Prestige Resort, Spa & Casino in Coral Bay on the Red Sea. The Domina Hotel Aqaba in Jordan is set to open in November, while the Domina Prestige Al Areem in Bahrain’s capital Manama is scheduled to open in mid-2009. The new properties will bring the Domina group’s Middle East and African portfolio to 11 properties. Meanwhile, the Domina Prestige Resort, Spa & Casino – Coral Bay is adding 100 rooms to the existing 64 and two villas, and these will be ready for occupation in January 2009. The resort already offers a private beach, two pools, ten restaurants, 12 bars and seven meeting rooms. The 173-room Domina Hotel Aqaba is situated in the city centre and offers a restaurant, two bars, a meeting room, pool, sauna and steam baths, massage therapies and nightclub. The Domina Prestige Al Areem – Bahrain will be located close to the F1 Manama circuit and the Bahrain Aqua Park. It will offer 348 rooms, including 12 villas with 24 apartments. Facilities include two restaurants, a terrace bar, two meeting rooms, pool, Jacuzzi, steam baths and saunas, a gym and tennis courts.
