MCI acquires Indian agency

MCI has acquired India-based agency Megaron to extend its reach in the territory. The acquisition will enable MCI to open offices in Delhi and Bengaluru in addition to its existing Mumbai office. MCI president Roger Tondeur said India was an important market for the company. “We see great growth potential in this market and Megaron brings excellent new talent to our company,” he said. Megaron employs 25 people and its founders Priti Khanna and Nisha Sharma Mullatti will be appointed joint managing directors of MCI India alongside MCI Mumbai managing director Sanjay Saxena. “We have been looking for an international associate to help us meet our client needs on a global scale against the backdrop of economic growth in India,” said Mullatti. Megaron’s clients include Hewlett-Packard, Timex and Seagate. Meanwhile, MCI has partnered environmental sustainability company Green Globe International to provide consultancy services to meeting venues and C&I destinations. The service is designed to reduce impact on the environment.
