De Vere opens Canary Wharf venue

De Vere Venues has launched its first dedicated conference and training centre in London’s Canary Wharf. The venue has 15 flexible meeting rooms, the largest of which is capable of accommodating up 455 delegates, and five syndicate rooms for smaller groups of up to 15 people. There are break-out areas outside each meeting room with sofas so people can relax between meetings, and each room has built-in storage for presentation material or props, adjustable lighting and in the larger rooms, plasma projection screens. De Vere Venues’ Canary Wharf will also have a Steam, Bake & Grill restaurant, where head chef Paul Constable will cook in front of customers in the open theatre-style kitchen. The restaurant will offer a unique team-building activity called Steam, Bake and Thrill, which gives participants the chance to experience working in the kitchen, and cook a two-course meal for the other team.
