Eades departs Banks Sadler after eight months

Richard Eades has parted company with agency Banks Sadler after eight months as chief operating officer for the London agency. Eades left on 31 January to head up the business solutions company he founded at the end of last year, Inkerman Associates. Banks Sadler chief executive Leigh Jagger said that during an evaluation in October of the agency’s future, Eades and the board mutually concluded a restructure was necessary. “Part of the this identified the future non-requirement of a COO,” she said. “It was agreed that Richard would remain at Banks Sadler a further three months to see a number of projects through to completion.” Banks Sadler recruited the former HBAA chairman of Hotel Booking Agents Association, who has some 26 years of industry experience, last May. The restructure has also seen Banks Sadler promote Karen Rice and Hazel Kilvington to operations directors and Julie Norburn to group sales director. European development director Xavier Cadiou now takes full responsibility for supporting the Warsaw, Paris and Düsseldorf offices. A number of support roles are also being planned across the business, Jagger said.
