PR association appoints BSI

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has appointed venue finder BSI to manage its corporate accommodation spend with a contract that also sees the company offer venue finding solutions for meetings, conferences and other events. "BSI's services will help us to not only secure hotel rooms and venues, but also significantly reduce the amount of search time and costs associated,” said CIPR assistant director general (business development and events) Elspeth Graham. CIPR – the professional body for PR practitioners – has 9,000 members across the UK and claims to be the largest body of its type in Europe. This year BSI’s remit will include providing accommodation and venue finding for CIPR’s annual conference, the World PR Conference and the Excellence Awards Dinner in 2008.
