CSR workshops: last call for places

Positive Impact – the not-for-profit project focused on providing education on sustainability within the events industry – has said that some limited places are still available for its London workshop series, which kicks off next week. The events are backed by both C&IT and industry association MPI and begin with a session on October 9 at Excel London on ‘The Challenges of Waste & Energy’. Delegates including venues, event suppliers and event planners and the remaining sessions take place on Monday 12 November 2007, 8:30am – 12:30pm at Church House Conference Centre, Westminster (‘Fairtrade, Food Miles and Organic Food and How to Tackle the Issue of Food Waste’); Monday 14 January 2008, 1pm – 5pm at Marriott Maida Vale (‘Transport and Community Involvement’) and finally the session on Monday 11 February 2008, 1pm – 5pm at The Barbican will cover ‘Steps to Certification’.
