Roche's Hill goes agency-side with Universal

Former Roche Products head of events Caroline Hill has gone agency-side, joining Universal CIT as operations director. Hill, previously strategic development manager (conference and events) at pharmaceutical giant Roche, said of the move: “I am looking forward to working on the agency side and delighted to be joining an agency with such a strong pharmaceutical offering. They are an experienced, dynamic and expanding company and the fact that Universal also has offices in the US provides an international dimension I am very keen to explore.” Universal CIT managing director Mike Ford added: “Caroline has extensive event management experience, gained through working in hotels, agencies and, prior to Roche, with Cisco Systems. This excellent pedigree, including four years with one of the pharmaceutical giants, makes her a very welcome and valued addition to our team. She brings not only operational expertise but also a high level of strategic insight which will help us add value to our expanding customer base.” Hill is also closely involved with MPI, having served as a former president of the association’s European council, and currently member of MPI’s international board of directors.
