DWS names agency for product roadshow

A leading entrepreneur has unveiled plans to introduce a range of market-leading products to the UK construction industry with a series of events across the country next month. The waterproofing lines from German manufacturer DWS are already market leader in their native country and now businessman Roy Jenkins in introducing them to Britain. Jenkins – an industry veteran with top level experience at the likes of companies such as Thermalite and Icopal – has named agency Stripe and its sister company Zarafa to handle events and an accompanying viral and direct marketing campaign respectively. The live work sees DWS Waterproofing take its roadshow to Strathclyde’s Alona Hotel on September 17, followed by Manchester, Birmingham and London (venues to be confirmed). Around 100 architects, surveyors and other senior construction professionals will attend the evening sessions, which will include product demonstrations and presentations representatives of DWS’ European operations. “Once the products are launched to our invited industry audience, they will change the face of every aspect of roofing and waterproofing industry, Jenkins said. “It was therefore important to us to find an agency that could grasp the scale of the impact these products will have and deliver a campaign that provokes the industry’s curiosity.”
