Telecoms firm names agency for sales incentives

Telecommunications firm 118 118 Media has appointed agency Lynton Cooper to handle event management and marketing for two upcoming incentive programmes. The projects are both incentives to 118’s direct sales force and kick off with an event for 25 of the firm’s top achievers in early 2008. Here Lynton Cooper has been tasked with creating a four-night programme to South Africa’s Londolozi private game reserve, and then The Palace at Sun City. The second project will reward 60 top performances with an incentive to the Ritz Carlton, Sharm el Sheik, Egypt later next year. Lynton Cooper will also provide support in the form of an internal marketing campaign to drive the incentive over coming months. “118 118 Media is relatively new and growing at an amazing rate and we’re delighted to be working with the company in the early stages of developing incentives for their sales force as well as adding another market sector to our client portfolio,” said Lynton Cooper director of marketing Paul Evans.
