e Vere on track with Denham Grove relaunch

De Vere Venues is on-track to have its £2m refurbishment programme at Denham Grove in Buckinghamshire completed by mid-September. The overhaul began last November when De Vere bought the property from BP, having previously managed the venue under contract. Some £850,000 of the budget is being devoted to installing the fine-dining Steam Bake & Grill set-up to be housed within the training and conferencing arena at Denham, formerly known as Durdent Court. The exhibition-style kitchen will specialise in world food, cooked to order in front of customers. “It’s vital that conferencing venues continue to react to their customers increasing food and beverage expectations and this sets a precedent by offering delegates a dining experience they’ll enjoy and remember,” said general manager Daniel Nixon. Meanwhile, all 18 meeting and conference rooms are also being overhauled and new facilities will include a fully equipped meeting room that can seat up to 100 theatre style. Elsewhere, all 38 double bedrooms are being refurbished, alongside the venue’s bar, lounge and reception area.
