C&IT announces inaugural Association Forum

Conference & Incentive Travel magazine is to run its first-ever Association Forum later this year. The event, taking place at London’s Excel, will see senior event planners from across the association sector gather for two days of debate, seminars and networking in November. The forum is set to kick off with a panel debate on the future for commercially successful events, and seminar topics are likely to cover subjects such as running successful ambassador programmes, CSR and the environment and embracing technology. Early speaker confirmations include MCI’s Robin Lokerman, president of the event giant’s Asia Pacific operation and formerly chief executive of its institutional division, and Vanessa Cotton, managing director for conferences and events at Excel. Taking place on November 7-8, the Association Forum joins C&IT’s well-established and successful agency and corporate forums. To qualify for a place, association planners need to have an annual budget of at least £500,000 and have both the UK and overseas events within their remit. Interested potential delegates should contact Lindsey Hawkins on 020 8267 5000 or lindsey.hawkins@haymarket.com.
