Gemini seals exclusive Man U deal

Agency Gemini International has signed an exclusive agreement with Manchester United that will see it lead the football club’s corporate incentive and staff development offer. The football link has seen Gemini and Manchester United launch two packages under the brand United in Business. These comprise theory sessions, in which delegates learn the secrets of the club’s success, and practical work, including football skills sessions at the Carrington training ground. Former United players are involved and parts of the programmes are held at Old Trafford. “The emphasis is on creating an experiential and motivational day,” said Gemini general manager Bill McFall. “The programmes can be focused on the individual or team and tailored to suit business needs.” The news follows Gemini’s announcement in June that it had opened offices in London and Shanghai. Chief executive Christine Kelly explained: “After two years of strategic review, it became clear that the emerging markets in Asia were best suited to Gemini’s core skillset.”
