Metro & G Cap book ski trips with Ten80

Agency Ten80 Events has been reappointed by the Metro newspaper and commercial radio giant G Cap Media to arrange ski events for 2008. The Chamonix-based agency won the business following ski trips organised for both media firms earlier this year. G Cap Media, which owns 154 analogue and digital radio stations, took a group of 12 of its key media planners and buyers to Chamonix for four days in January and the event was so successful it plans to expand in 2008 with two back-to-back trips. G Cap head of strategic communications Stephen Fuller said he reappointed Ten80 because of the bespoke touch provided by the company. “They’re very into what they do and that’s what sets them apart. They’re always on hand and really go the extra mile,” he says. Meanwhile, Ten80 is also organising a second ski trip for Metro, which took a group of media buyers to Chamonix in March. The business wins come as the three year-old firm rebrands from Chamonix Ten80 to Ten80 Events to reflect its Alpine-wide incentive offer.
