Searle joins force at Universal CIT

Universal CIT has appointed new business development manager Mark Searle to further expand the agency’s business beyond the pharmaceutical market into a raft of other sectors. Searle, who took on the role earlier this month after working for Banks Sadler for three and a half years in a similar role, has a remit to expand the company’s portfolio and he plans to target all markets in doing so. Searle who has worked in the events industry for 20 years for a range of client sectors, described the role at Universal CIT as “too good an opportunity to miss”. He added that: “I had always admired Universal, so it was a really easy decision when I was approached to become their new business development manager.” Universal CIT managing director Mike Ford said: “We had come across Mark a number of times in competitive pitch situations and recognised early on that he was exactly the type of person that we value at Universal. Not only does Mark have the proven track record in developing high-quality business, but he also has the right attitude and personality to flourish here.”
