PCI Fitch and Clever Media join forces

Sister agencies PCI Fitch and Clever Media have merged to create an agency with offices in London, Dubai and the US. The agencies, part of marketing group WPP, merged to create Fitch Live, based in the former PCI Fitch office in Chelsea. Fitch Live Worldwide managing partner Peter Cowie confirmed there were no job losses and said the company was recruiting staff for existing Fitch offices in Dubai, New York and Seattle. The services at the offices will be expanded to include live events. Cowie, previously PCI Fitch EMEA managing partner, is tasked with growing and developing the business throughout the world. Paul Cowan, previously Clever Media managing director and communications director is responsible for UK business and takes on the post of Fitch Live London managing director. “WPP’s creation of Fitch Live shows that experiential communication is a crucial sector,” said Cowie. “We want to be at the forefront of this exciting market, building a competitive, profitable and sustainable business ready to deliver the strategy, creativity and results that global clients expect alongside an environment that is rewarding for our people.” Fitch Worldwide chairman and chief executive Rodney Fitch said: “Fitch is a multidisciplinary design business and across our global network we see an increasing demand from clients for an integrated offer. As the more traditional means of brand communications disintermediate, I am confident that the experiential approach from Fitch Live will deliver a really meaningful alternative to our clients.” Fitch Live’s clients include Microsoft, Nokia, BP, HSBC, Sony, General Motors and British Airways.
