Tees Valley hotel managers band together

General managers of Tees Valley hotels have formed an association with the aim of attracting and developing more business in the region. The Tees Valley Hotel Managers Association is chaired by Paul Mandeir, general manager of Paramount Redworth Hall Hotel in Darlington and board member of area tourism partnership Visit Tees Valley. Membership is open to general managers or owners of Tees Valley hotels with more than 19 rooms. Business ideas, best practice and potential support available from Visit Tees Valley are among topics discussed at the association’s monthly meetings, the next of which is on 17 July at The King’s Head Hotel, Darlington. “The meetings are a great way to meet other like-minded individuals, help create informal partnerships and identify best practice and improvements in the way that we go about our business,” said Mandeir. “Involvement in the group is critical if we are to develop the practical ideas and support to help grow our business. The association provides a voice for hoteliers in the Tees Valley which will help to address wider issues that affect us”.
