Reef group acquires Corporate Adrenalin

The Reef Group has acquired training and motivation firm Corporate Adrenalin for an undisclosed sum in a move it predicts will “return it to the market-leading position it enjoyed in its heyday”. Corporate Adrenalin was previously owned by The Adrenalin Network. Originally founded in 1992, the company enjoyed international success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with clients including Sony, Nestle, Kellogg's and Walkers. However, according to a statement from Reef, the company’s US business suffered heavily following the 9/11 attacks, and as a result the company was downsized, losing eight members of staff and moving to smaller premises. The acquisition sees Reef take the total number of businesses in its group to four, with Corporate Adrenalin joining marketing and design agency Resource Marketing, event and conference management company Event Fixers and communications agency Liz Unsworth Media & PR. “The acquisition gives us the opportunity to offer our clients a one-stop solution,” said Reef chief executive George Colquhoun. “Our intention is to grow Corporate Adrenalin first of all back to the significant success it enjoyed before 9/11. We are driving the business into re-building our home market, and then to develop it into a major player throughout the world, particularly in Europe."
