Shropshire CVB unveils marketing drive

Telford & Shropshire Conferences has announced details of a marketing drive as it seeks to boost C&I business in the region. To kick this off, the organisation has created a 48-page guide entitled “Meet in Telford & Shropshire”. Designed to raise the area’s profile amongst UK and overseas meetings organisers, it includes information on 25 venues, as well as tips for planning in the county and details Telford & Shropshire Conference’s free venue-finding offer. This is being followed by a similar guide for incentive and corporate hospitality buyers and both publications will be flagged-up in a mail-out to the outfit’s database next week. An email marketing drive is set to follow later this year. “Telford and Shropshire is keen to raise its profile even further and these guides will achieve this, showcasing the world class facilities,” said tourism executive Sarah Bird. “With many major multi million pound developments happening right now, the future is even more exciting.”
