London agency bags auto double

Agency Line Up has won a five-way pitch to run the international launch of two cars for Volvo. The event will see the vehicles launched to 6,500 Volvo dealers in Stockholm this summer. Delegates from 35 countries will fly in for a two-day programme as part of a series of events staged over nine weeks between June and August. The launch will include on and off-road driving activities, track sessions, safety demonstrations and presentations on the new cars. The agency will be responsible for delegate logistics, event and technical production and the creative look and feel of the programme and venues among other tasks. Line Up board director Rob Leach said: “Having worked on the launch of the S80 to Volvo’s global network last year, we’re delighted to have been chosen again to coordinate this year’s launch. We’re relishing the opportunity to produce another highly experiential event to bring the new cars to life for all dealers.” The London-based company’s other clients include Nissan, Mitsubishi Europe and Hoover Candy.
