Banks Sadler sees turnover rise 35%

Banks Sadler saw turnover climb by 35% last year – up to £23.5m from £17.5m. The results – for the year ending 31 October 2006 – continue a trend that has seen turnover increase by at least 20% in each of the last five years. In the same period the business has grown from 60 staff to over 100 and launched (or being about to launch) new offices in York, Poland, France and Germany. “We have made some significant steps in the last few years, winning high value accounts, streamlining our systems and building better relationships with our suppliers,” said managing director Leigh Jagger. “Above all else though, the growth is down to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Banks Sadler and the support of our clients.” Chairman David Campbell added: “In the year 2001-02 turnover stood at just under £10 million, meaning we have experienced an increase in turnover of 135% in the last five years. It’s a result of understanding the way in which the market has developed and having the staff and resources to offer our clients a first class service.”
