Double win for Manchester agency

Manchester agency Out There Events has announced two account wins this week, as it prepares to organise the annual conference for the Institute of Directors later this month, followed by an awards evening in March for one of the largest hairdressing companies in the UK. The Francesco Group Awards will see up to 650 delegates attend the International Centre, Telford on 25 March. Out There Events director Stacey Chantler said the agency’s technical director, Richard Moitié, played a major role in securing the business. Moitié was responsible for the awards’ production before he became an employee of Out There Events. “They loved his work so much that when he came to Out There Events, the event came with him,” explained Chantler. This will be the third year Moitié has taken on the responsibility. Between 600 and 650 hairdressers and people associated with Francesco Group’s training academies will attend the ceremony. The evening will comprise a catwalk show with hair models and dancers, separate ceremonies for salon and hair photography awards, dinner with a live band and a DJ set. “It’s an event that they hope is inspirational and motivational to all the guests – it’s a reward for everybody working hard,” Moitié said. Out There Events, which recently celebrated its fifth year in business, is also running the Institute of Directors annual conference at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester on 22 February. 150 people including corporates and entrepreneurs are expected to attend the event and keynote speakers include Californian Entrepreneur and former Dragon’s Den panel member Doug Richard.
