MICE group strengthens job resource

London events network London Mice has teamed up with sector recruitment specialists Off to Work and Real Recruitment to strengthen its careers website, www.londonmice.co.uk/jobs/. The site advertises a range of job vacancies - from permanent senior event managers to contract bar staff - and career opportunities. London Mice marketing and business co-ordinator Maaike Lewerenz said both recruitment companies will post events job vacancies on the website. "We gave both companies a login for the website and whenever they get job offers from their clients or our members, they will put the job advertisement onto our website," explained Lewerenz. The partnership means London Mice members will be eligible for a discount when using the recruitment companies’ services. A formal celebration of the partnership is to be held at London Mice’s networking evening on 12 February. London Mice is a not-for-profit company funded by the London Development Agency to foster MICE business. It provides an online events supplier directory designed for event planners, listing more than 1,000 suppliers, and offers networking and promotional benefits to member supplier companies. Off to Work has provided a recruitment service to the London events industry for seven years and Real Recruitment was set up in 2001.
