THA appoints John Hooker to board

Agency THA Group has appointed of John Hooker to its UK Board of Directors as of 1 February. Hooker joins THA from his most recent role working on conferencing and events activities at the Institution of Civil Engineers. Prior to this post he spent two years as general manager (business development), at the Dubai International Conference and Exhibition Centre, which followed twenty years at BI where he held a number of senior positions. “It’s a very exciting time for the company and the appointment is a fundamental part of our strategy and to the continuing success and development of THA Group,” said THA chief executive Kevin Ingram. “John has worked within the marketing and event industries for many years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience across the entire spectrum. These skills will be utilised throughout his broad role.” Hooker added: “I am very much looking forward to becoming part of the dynamic THA team and further developing their full capabilities and the company’s portfolio. Having worked within the marketing and events industries for a number of years, I hope to bring a wide array of skills to the table that will continue to move THA forward into 2007 and beyond.”
