Agency head quits to launch start-up

MMM Live managing director Neil Jones has left the agency to set up his own organisation. MMM was remaining tight-lipped as C&IT News Tracker went to press, with Jones only prepared to comment that "it had been a long time coming". He also added that he was determined to form an "an agency with a difference" and that it "won’t be doing management or logistics but would aim to operate at the top of the food chain". Jones also confirmed that the agency will launch in February. His previous career has seen him undertake senior roles at a variety of event and marketing companies including Events Review, The George P Johnson Company, Advanstar and Catalyst. Nobody at MMM, whose client portfolio takes in the likes of BP, Jaguar, Currys and 3 Mobile, was available for comment this morning, other than to confirm Jones departure was a mutual decision. Meanwhile, MMM marketing manager Emily Stagg leaves the company this week to head up the affinity marketing team at Endsleigh Insurance. Her replacement is expected to be announced in January.
