Knebworth strikes gold at CEA night

Knebworth House picked up the Gold Award at the first Eventia Corporate Event Awards last night. The award, sponsored by Eventia and C&IT’s sister title Event, was for the venue’s three-day Hedgestock conference in July. Seventeen categories were awarded at the new look awards, which were launched in May. The awards reward creativity, logistical excellence and best practice among UK events suppliers. They complement the Eventia ITM Awards, which are supported by C&IT. Production company Sprout picked up the most awards, with wins across three categories, including product launch of the year for its Freelander Global Press Launch. Knebworth House picked up a second award for Best Use of a Venue’s Facilities. The ceremony, held at the Hurlingham Club in south west London, was attended by 400 guests. The ITM Awards are being held on 2 February 2007 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
