EIBTM unveils its global winners

The EIBTM Meetings and Incentives Industry Awards were presented on the opening day of the show in Barcelona, recognising the achievements of event organisers from across the globe. Entries this year included submissions for events held in India, Namibia and Dubai, and the judging process was chaired by Jack Morton Worldwide´s joint managing director Jeremy Garbett. The panel comprised experts from the C&I industry and editors of EIBTM´s media partners including Conference & Incentive Travel. The entries were assessed on both their concept and execution with an emphasis on key factors such as creativity, innovation, measurement of return on investment and effectiveness for the target audience. The winning entries are as follows: Best Conference Extraordinary Events for “CEMEX” Highly commended: Multimedia Systems for Lyrica – Adesso La Calma Best Product Launch face to face gmbh for “Welcome Next Generation” Highly commended: Global Events for Convention/Training Sessions New Renault Clio Best Incentive Travel Programme Gattinoni & Co for “Namibia from the Sky” Highly commended: Twilight Events Deutschland GmbH for Beauty Oil Best Event in Spain Global Events for Philips Sales Convention “Siente La Fuerza” Highly commended: VOK DAMS Group for Bauknecht The ceremony also included the presentation of the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) award for Power and Profile, received by Hervé Bosquet of Brussels International.
