Housing group signs retained agency

Student housing firm Unite Group has confirmed Beyond Certainty as its retained event agency for the next year, kicking off with its annual conference at Disneyland Paris in February. The brief comes in wake of an ad-hoc relationship that has seen the Southgate-based agency conduct a number of projects for Unite on an occasional basis. February’s meeting will see 350 delegates from all levels of Unite meet in Paris to discuss strategy and changes across the group for 2007. So far the agenda, which is still being finalised, will include a conference and gala dinner, as well as downtime for delegates in the grounds. “We have built a strong relationship with Beyond Certainty for over three years,” Unite event organiser Sarah Cheeke said of the firmed-up relationship between corporate and agency. “Haralambos Stavrou and his team have been flexible and there hasn’t been a challenge we’ve thrown at them which they haven’t met.” Meanwhile, Beyond Certainty launched a corporate social responsibility programme this week in which they are asking their clients for an optional 1 per cent donation of project fees to the Tree Council. Beyond Certainty’s clients include BP, BT and Delta Airlines.
