Evolution widens event remit

Evolution Partners has acquired technology company Audio Visual Solutions, with the view to widening its remit to include full event management and production. The Buckinghamshire-based agency, whose clients include AXA, Lexus and Currys, will operate under a new name, Evolution 24, and will be managed by a board comprising members from both companies. Managing director Andi Swain said that the move was part of Evolution’s bid to broaden its service offering to clients. "As a live-events agency, Evolution Partners has always been able to offer clients a creative live event service but we also wanted to offer the full AV service," he said. "The launch of Evolution 24 provides opportunity to invest more into the latest hi-tech presentation equipment, [thus] expanding this sector of our business." The company will continue to operate from Buckinghamshire but plans to add a further suite of offices at the Wingbury Business Centre, where it has recently recruited additional admin and technical staff.
