Hotel loyalty system triumphs

German hotel group Steigenberger has won an award for its customer loyalty programme. The family-owned hotelier picked up the prize at yesterday’s Worldwide Hospitality Awards in Paris for Best Customer Satisfaction Programme for its assessment system that measures guest-feedback on facilities and converts it into regular reports accessible by all staff. The category was one of ten across the annual hotel awards, held this year at the Hilton Paris Arc de Triomphe, that recognise a range of development projects across the hotel industry. Other winners included the Rezidor Hotels Group, which was awarded for its marketing partnership with Nespresso; Fairmont, that won Best Social Responsibility Programme for its Green Partnership and The Lucien Barrière Group, which won the Grand Prix for its international projects across its casino, hotel and leisure portfolio.
