Bournemouth upgrades online venue finding

The Bournemouth International Conference Bureau (BICB) has become the first bureau to take on a new technology that offers event organisers full access to check its member venues’ facilities and their availability. The introduction of the VenueCheck software, by Availability Systems, now means that BICB members are being marketed on an upgraded website, which incorporates the software. This enables event organisers to access venue details not only through conventional search fields such as size and location, but also to identify the venues’ availability through a range of date options. BICB bureau manager Karina Gregory said that the system speeds up the process for organisers and allows member venues to receive more qualified business enquiries. "We are constantly sourcing new technology and systems that will add value for our members and the users of the BICB service," she said. "This is a great system that makes arranging an event in Bournemouth even easier for organisers."
