First national UK website for Radisson SAS

Radisson SAS has launched national websites for the UK and Ireland. The sites are the first national sites for Radisson SAS and are part of an overall strategy to focus on national distribution and benefit from the current trend in the market to book online. Rezidor SAS Hospitality area vice-president UK and Ireland Christian Gartmann said: "This is a major step forward for the brand and for the UK and Ireland region and gives us the opportunity to capitalise on the current market trend and drive business through our own channels. We are confident our customers will find the new sites beneficial, both in terms of time saving and the quality of information available." The two new national sites have been created within the framework already in place for www.radissonsas.com, the brand website for Radisson SAS, and will leverage some of the information and tools already in place on that site. However, each of the new sites focuses strongly on the local region, while working together to promote the hotels in both the UK and Ireland. As with all websites, a key objective is to minimise clicks, and on entering the new national sites, the visitor is already within the UK and Ireland pages, therefore saving two clicks from the brand site. The visitor can then directly choose which UK or Ireland destination they are looking for and click through to the site for that hotel. On the hotel pages, they can access information and images on location, bedrooms, dining, meeting facilities, leisure options and other services, plus special offers and packages offered by that hotel.
