New agency Maelstrom Solutions launched

The International Centre Telford commercial director Matthew Lambert has left to launch his own event management and venue consultancy, Maelstrom Solutions. Lambert spent over six years at the Telford venue after joining the team in 2000 from Emap Healthcare Exhibitions. "I very much enjoyed my time at The International Centre and am extremely proud to have been part of the team that that has put the centre firmly on the map," said Lambert. "But with future developments still some way off, I felt that the time was right for a new challenge." The focus of the new company will be two-fold, offering event and exhibition management services to trade associations and smaller organisers, as well as working with venues who wish to develop their own services and offering. "Having had the experience of working for both organisers and venues I feel my new company will be able to offer a service that not only meets each client’s specific needs, but also adds value to organisations who need to run events but lack the resources or knowledge to do so efficiently," he added.
