BMED launches new service to Ankara

BMED, British Airways franchise partner, has launched a new non-stop service between London and Turkey’s Ankara. The service will fly six times a week with plans to increase to a daily service in July. BMED chairman Lord Hesketh highlighted the significance of being the only airline to provide a direct service between both capital cities. "As one of our top twenty export markets, Turkey has a very important trade and investment relationship with the UK," he said. "This new service is designed to give practical assistance and support a thriving, successful business partnership between our two countries." Flights from London to Ankara will continue to Sudan’s Khartoum before making the return journey.
