£2m pre-tax profits for P&MM

P&MM Group plc has announced preliminary pre-tax profits of £2m for the year ended 31 December 2005 – up 30% on the previous year. The figures also show an operating profit increase of 21% to £1,992,000 (£1,645,000 in 2004) and an increase in gross profits by 31% to £10,900,000 from £8,315,000 in 2004. The company’s success is partly down to a series of acquisitions over the past year, beginning in February 2005 with the addition of AYM Services – provider of performance improvement and motivation services and incentive travel and conference production to corporate clients – to the portfolio. In January this year expansion continued with the acquisition of Summersault Communications, a provider of internal corporate communications for large blue chip organisations, and last month saw the acquisition of the trade of The Voucher Shop.
