Paramount launches meetings and events product

The Paramount Group of Hotels has launched a new meetings and events product, including a brochure that features venue options including over 160 adaptable rooms at the company's 20 UK hotels. And the group has also created a more comprehensive service to assist planners with the actual running of their events, with a central meetings and events desk to advise on suitable venues, availability and rates, and a professional events team at each property to deal with enquiries. Paramount sales and marketing director Manju Goel said: "We recognised that the hotel meetings sector is extremely crowded and competitive. It was therefore essential to create a product that differentiates Paramount from its competitors. Our new meetings and events offering is based on research among our corporate customers, who identified location, quality, flexibility and value as their core requirements." The new product carries a ten-point guarantee which includes answering queries within two hours, free room upgrade for organiser and another nominated 'VIP', on-site audio-visual assistance and technician available on request and a follow-up call the next working day to discuss the success of the event.
