Meetingsfare and Bedfare in peril as Expotel rebrands

The future of former Montpelier Collection brands Meetingsfare and Bedfare is in question following redundancies and office closures made by parent company Expotel. Just five months after the acquisition, Expotel marketing manager Sharon Smith confirmed that their business will now be split between Expotel’s four UK offices, despite insistence at the time that the brands would retain a separate identity. “We have realised it is more cost-effective to move the business in-house,” she said. Smith added that Expotel is rebranding, which “could” result in the disappearance of the Meetingsfare and Bedfare brands. The new image will be launched at Easter.
