CSA Czech Airlines partners Worldhotels

Worldhotels has strengthened its market position in Eastern Europe by forging a new partnership with CSA Czech Airlines. From February members of the carrier’s OK Plus frequent flyer programme will be able to earn 500 OK Plus miles by staying at any of the nearly 500 Worldhotels properties worldwide at all qualifying rates. “This is an important step for Worldhotels,” says CEO Michael Ball. “Our partnership with CSA Czech Airlines opens a raft of new sales and marketing opportunities for us and our member hotels in the strongly growing markets in Eastern Europe. CSA is one of Eastern Europe’s top airlines, and with the Czech Republic joining the enlarged European Union, we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.” Named “2004 and 2005’s Best Airline in Eastern Europe” by OAG and the USA’s Global Traveller Magazine, Czech Airlines is the largest of the new EU Member countries’ airlines, carrying a record of more than 5 million passengers in 2005. CSA Czech Airlines has been a member of the SkyTeam since 2001, one of the leading global airline alliances. With its fleet of 50 Airbus, Boeing and ATR aircrafts the airline connects 75 countries worldwide. CSA Czech Airlines executive director for sales Jaroslav Stepanek said: “We are delighted to have created this new partnership with such an important hotels group. We are looking forward to working together and strengthening both our offerings to the world market.”
