Business Travel Show award nominations announced

British Airways has been shortlisted for the Business Travel Show Innovation Award for its policy to offset carbon emissions with ClimateCare. The airline is among eight candidates in contention for the award, including Eos Airlines, for its innovative all-business class service across the North Atlantic, Eurostar, for its new business premiere product, and Marston Hotels, for its ‘new generation’ business/conference properties. The winner will be unveiled at the Business Travel Show at London’s Olympia on 1 February. Business Travel Show event director David Chapple explained: “It was an incredibly hard task choosing just eight finalists from the original line-up, as every single product that was nominated has made a commendable contribution towards the progression of the industry. “Streamlining these eight to just one winner is going to prove nigh on impossible, as they are all worthy winners. Having said that, we are looking forward to a healthy, heated debate.” The Business Travel Show takes place 31 January to 2 February at London’s Olympia exhibition hall. More than 160 exhibitors have confirmed to date, including around 50 first-timers on the show floor.
