Meetings Pavilion offers C&I focus at WTM

The profile of the C&I sector will be boosted at this year’s World Travel Market, with the launch of a Meetings Pavilion. Designed to highlight the growth and development of the meetings market, representatives from five key industry bodies will be on hand. These include the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers, the British Association of Conference Destinations, the Hotel Booking Agents Association, the Meetings Industry Association and Meetings Professional International UK. Seminars taking place during WTM’s dedicated C&I day, on the second day of the show, will tackle the thorny issue of ROI – Return on Investment. Entitled ‘Making Meetings Pay’, sessions include a ‘head to head’ discussion between Neil Jones, managing director for George P Johnson, the largest privately held global event marketing organisation, and Hugh Lee, president of Fusion – an international full service production company, and chairman of MPI’s international board of directors. WTM takes place at London’s ExCel centre from 8-11 November.
