Jack Morton targets continent via Paris

Jack Morton Worldwide has extended its European footprint with the opening of an office in Paris that will allow it to target mainland European business. The Paris agency complements the Athens office, which the company opened last month to handle the ceremonies around next year’s Olympics. “We are increasingly spending our time doing pan-European or international work. Although we are a worldwide company, we needed a physical presence in mainland Europe,” said executive vice-president Lois Jacobs. The Paris office is headed up by client services director Laure Demeure and operations director David Proctor. Its current client roster includes Reuters and Mars, and Jacobs said the office would pitch for work from other French-based international clients. Meanwhile, Jack Morton Worldwide has reported that it billed £4m of business in the four weeks to 16 May. Projects included the 100th anniversary of Vauxhall Motors in the UK, which featured the launch of General Motors’ new concept car, the VX Lightning. The agency also undertook the trade and fleet launch of the Vauxhall Signum and Meriva.
