London targets associations in marketing push

London Convention Bureau is looking to boost association business to the capital with a series of campaigns this year. The bureau kicked-off the ‘Destination London’ activity with a reception last month for association representatives at City Hall, where its association brochure was launched. This will be followed up with further activities, including workshops for members and associations, fam trips and quarterly lunches. This push ties in with the CVB’s ‘Totally London’ scheme, which highlights the capital’s range of entertainment and facilities. This is communicated via print and TV advertising.
