London outlines the potential of outskirt venues

London Tourist Board and Convention Bureau is to launch a campaign to promote attractions on the outskirts of the city and show how budgets can be stretched. Go Further in London will comprise a brochure of money-saving ideas and venues slightly further afield. A section of the bureau’s website will be dedicated to the campaign. London Convention Bureau European sales and marketing manager Barbara Jamison said companies were unaware of the number of venues located in the suburbs that are ideal for teambuilding activities. She added: “We aim to show clients they can have their meeting or event in central London and also have a countryside experience, which is easily accessible.”
